Adding options and extras for Menu’s

To add options to your menu items your menu MUST  be set as FULL FEATURE when it is initially created and either the PRE ORDER REQUIRED or PRE ORDER AVAILABLE check boxes need to be ticked on the MENU DETAILS page. 

 

Once you have added your item,  scroll to the bottom of the page, you will see the item that you have just added listed here. If you would like to add options/extras to your item, just follow the steps below.

• • Scroll down to the item you have added
  • Click Options (please note this will not appear unless you have ticked pre-order required on the menu details page)
  • Give your option a title e.g. ‘Cook on steak?’ or ‘Add extra toppings to your burger?‘ then click add option group
  • This option will now appear below and you will see Add A Group Option. This is where you will add your different options or extras eg ‘Cook on Steak?’ would have thew options of ‘blue, rare, medium rare’ etc. ‘Add extra toppings to your burger?’ would be ‘cheese, bacon, onion rings’ etc.
  • You can make these options mandatory if you wish, allow multiples and limit them per customer
  • If you want the customer to pay for these extras/options at at point of preorder, put the price in the price box. This will then charge them just for the additional extras/options. If you do not want to charge them at point of preorder, put the price  for the item (if there is one) in the title box.
  • Once you have finished adding your options, click save changes
