Promotional Code / Discount Guide for Competitive Socialising

  • Title – for your reference
  • Code – what you want customers to use (this has to be letters and numbers only)
  • Start date – when you want the code to start (this can be left blank if ongoing)
  • End date – when you want the code to end (this can be left blank if ongoing)
  • Lead time (days) – if set at 1 day, the customer wouldn’t be able to use the promo code to book within the next 24 hours.
  • Promo parent – only applicable if you have multiple venues
  • Single use per user – the code can only be used once, by one person (email address).
  • Single use – customers can only use the code once
  • Used? – you want to mark the promo code as expired
  • Disable booking options – this isn’t applicable for your venue
  • Description – this is what is displayed to the customer
  • Promo menu – if you want to link the promo code to a specific menu
  • Max # total (not single use) – you can limit how many times this code can be used altogether
  • Max # per day (not single use) – you can limit how many times the code is used in one day
  • Fixed booking covers (v4 activity) – only have it activate at a certain number of covers
  • Apply discount at booking – it will knock the amount off when they go to pay
  • Limit booking to promo activities – limit the activities that can be selected for that promo
  • Promo value (at booking):
  1. Percentage discount – gives a percentage discount
  2. Value discount – gives a value off the booking eg. £10 off the booking
  3. Fixed value – gives you the booking at the fixed price of the ‘discount value at booking’ eg 1 hour of bowling for £10.
  • Discount value (at booking) – the discount value you want to give
  • Select time type:
  1. All times – all times you are open
  2. Defined times – specific times you are open
  • Trigger by:
  1. All activities – the discount is triggered by all activities
  2. Defined activities – the discount is triggered by certain activities
  • Apply to:
  1. All activities – apply to all activities
  2. Defined activities – apply to certain activities
  • No duplicate activities – they cannot get discount on the same two activities
  • Don’t apply discount to seed activity – the seed activity is the first activity they choose
  • Limit discount to one activity only – only one activity gets the discount
  • Suggest – the system will auto suggest the promo to the customer
  • Activity trigger count – how many activities do you want the customer to choose before they get the discount.
  • Activity duration limit (minutes) – if you put 120 minutes in here, this would be the maximum time the customer can book that activity using the promo code.
  • User groups – you can create groups in MANAGE USERS > USER GROUPS > where you add customers email addresses to a list so only those exact email addresses can be used. When you create the list you will see this in the drop down. These email addresses need to be already in Togo. If they are not already registered, you will need to add them by going to MANAGE USERS > ADD USER.
  • Email domain limit – if you add an email domain it will only allow customers who have the email domain ‘@example.co.uk’
