It is essential that cover times are set correctly for Togo to allocate tables and manage automatic checkout efficiently.

How to Access Cover Times

1. Go to Manage Venue from the home page.

2. Select Cover Times at the top of the page.

3. Click Enable All at the top of the screen.

Viewing Your Existing Cover Times

There is no separate screen that shows a summary of your active cover times.

If you want to see what cover times are currently set, you must either:

• Check an existing booking and view the allocated time shown on the booking, or

• Start adding a new booking and click “CHECK TIMES” only (do not complete the booking).

This will display the available times on screen based on your current cover time settings.

Setting or Updating Cover Times

When you first open the Cover Times table, all party sizes will display as zero.

Do not worry — this does not mean your current cover times have been removed.

For each party size:

1. Tick the Configure box next to the cover number.

2. Enter your Estimated Cover Time in minutes.

   • Example: 2 hours = 120 minutes.

Please note:
The system automatically adds a 15-minute turnaround time to each cover time.

If you do not want the 15-minute buffer applied, reduce your cover time by 1 minute.
For example:

• Enter 59 minutes instead of 60.

Applying Cover Times

Once you have entered your cover times, you can choose how they apply:

Option 1: All Times

Select this if the same cover time applies at all times and on all days.

Option 2: Defined Times

Select this if you require different cover times during certain days or time periods.

If using Defined Times:

1. Select the start time and end time.

2. Select the days you want these times to apply to.

Then click Set Cover Times.

⚠️ This can take approximately 5–10 minutes to load and save correctly.
Do not exit or refresh the page during this time.

Important: When Changes Take Effect

Updated cover times only apply to new bookings made after the change.

Any bookings already in the system will retain the previous cover times.

If you need to reset existing bookings to use the new cover times:

1. Go to the Live Console.

2. Select the date you wish to update.

3. Click the cog icon.

4. Select Reset All Cover Times.

You will need to repeat this process for each date that requires updating.
