Your booking system lets you choose how customers enter their party size. As a restaurant, you can either:
✅ Use one dropdown for the total number of guests
OR
✅ Use two dropdowns – one for adults and one for children (optional)
You can also rename the labels to suit your venue – for example: Guests, Diners, Adults, Kids, Over 12s, etc.
Go to Manage Venue
Click Manage Tables
Select Booking Options
You’ll see two default booking options:
Adults
Children
Each option has a Manage button next to it.
If you want a simple setup where customers only select the total number of people:
Click Manage next to Adults
In the Custom Title box, rename it to something restaurant-friendly like:
Size of Party
Number of Guests
Total Diners
Click Save
✅ Customers will now only see one dropdown during booking.
You can ignore the Description box – it’s only used for optional add-on questions like “Do you require disabled access?” or “Do you need a highchair?”
If your restaurant needs to know how many children are in the booking (for space planning, highchairs or kids’ menus):
Click Manage next to Adults if you want to rename it (optional)
Click Manage next to Children
Make sure Venue Only is unticked
– if this stays ticked, the Children option will not show to customers
Rename if needed, e.g.:
Adults → Adults (13+)
Children → Children (Under 12)
Click Save
✅ Customers will now select both adults and children when booking.
